Stitcher releases trailer for new show, “Science Rules!,” hosted by Bill Nye and S. Corey Powell

NEW YORK CITY – April 25, 2019 – Today, top podcast listening service and content network Stitcher (“Heaven’s Gate,” “The Dream,” “Murder Squad”), released the trailer for “Science Rules! with Bill Nye.” The show, which premieres May 16, is hosted by the beloved scientist and educator, along with co-host S. Corey Powell (editor of Discover magazine). You can listen to the trailer HERE.

Each week, Nye and Powell take listener calls and, with a little help from field experts and special celebrity guests, answer their curliest science questions. The questions they'll focus on are the sort of small but puzzling ones of everyday life, like: How often do I really need to wash my pillowcase? Should I stop eating cheeseburgers to combat climate change? Can I harvest energy from all those static-electricity shocks I get in the winter?

“I’m excited about my new podcast, Science Rules!,” says Nye. “We talk with experts, and we take your calls. Then, we do our best to advance everyone’s scientific understanding, get some laughs, and change the world. No big deal. I mean, how hard could it be? Turn it up loud!”
